As of January 2022, I don't accept insurance. You can submit to your insurance company a "superbill" I give you. If you have out-of-network benefits, you may receive a portion of the counseling fee reimbursed to you from your insurance company. Check your policy to see if you have out-of-network benefits.
Be aware that to get therapy paid for by your insurance provider, you have to be diagnosed with a mental health disorder. A number of my clients do not have a mental health disorder, they simply are trying to deal with a difficult situation. If you would rather not be diagnosed, but instead want me to work with your situation, then I'm here.
Some of you have a high insurance deductible. That means that if you used your insurance you would be paying around $73.00 per session until you hit your deductible limit. Some insurance clients spend $500-$1,000 on therapy till they reach their deductible. Not really all that great a deal.
For individual counseling, I have a sliding scale based on your income and number of dependents. On average the fee is around $60, which means it could be lower if your circumstances dictate.
For couples counseling, I charge $85 per 60 minute session. You cannot get a superbill for couples counseling.
Cash, check, and credit card are accepted for payment.
I require at least a 24 hour notice of cancellation to avoid a charged fee.
